Chapter 14 – The Eternal Age of the Kingdom of God

The New Heaven and the New Earth

Father God, Yahweh Elohim, is working out His Glorious Grand Family Plan in seven biblical ages through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, Yeshua Elohim. We briefly described these Seven Ages in Chapter 5, which are:

  1. The Pre-Adamic Age
  2. The Adamic Age
  3. The Age of Israel under the Old Covenant of the Law
  4. The Age of the Church under the New Covenant of Grace
  5. The Millennial Age of the Kingdom of God
  6. The Great White Throne Judgement Age
  7. The Eternal Age of the Kingdom of God

Let us remind ourselves of the definition of a Biblical Age, as stated previously in Chapter 5.

‘A Biblical Age is a long period of time which begins and ends with God’s supernatural and dramatic intervention on earth, impacting the whole world in a major and far-reaching way, which completely changes the course of the history of the world. However, the Seventh Eternal Age differs in that it begins but it has no end. It is the Age without end.’

God wants us to be glad and rejoice forever because He will create His Eternal Kingdom of the New Heaven and the New Earth.

 Isaiah 65:17-18
17 For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. 18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create.

Apostle Peter understood that the creation of the New Heaven and the New Earth would happen after God had first cleansed, purified and renewed this earth with its heaven (earth’s atmosphere) by fire.

2 Peter 3:11-13
11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless, we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Yes indeed, Apostle Peter was looking forward to the New Heaven and the New Earth in which righteousness dwells. A vision of the New Heaven and the New Earth was given to Apostle John approximately 2000 years ago, on the Island of Patmos.

Revelation 21:1-6a
1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.” 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.”

What a wonderful and glorious scripture this is. Father God Himself will now come down to this cleansed, renewed and redeemed planet earth and its heaven (the New Heaven and the New Earth) to live with men forever. There will be ‘no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying’ and ‘no more pain, for the former things will have passed away.’ This is when ‘God’s Plan for All’ comes to its glorious end, when Father God declares, ‘It is done’.

The place in Revelation 21:6 above where God proclaims, ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End’ should mark the end of Chapter 21. This is because the remainder of the book of Revelation, refers back to the previous ages, before the Eternal Seventh Age of the Kingdom of God of the New Heaven and the New Earth, where there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying and no more pain.

Please note that there are no verses, paragraphs or chapter breaks in the ancient Hebrew and Greek Manuscripts from which the Bible versions are translated. These verses, paragraphs and chapter breaks do not form part of the original inspired writings, but were added later and sometimes placed inappropriately as in this case. Also, the book of Revelation is not written to follow a strict chronological sequence of end-time events.

Like Apostle John, Apostle Paul was also given a vision of the Eternal Kingdom of God of the New Heaven and the New Earth.

2 Corinthians 12:1-4
1 It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord: 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago – whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows – such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man – whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows 4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

In this scripture, we read and know that it was Paul Himself who was caught up to the ‘third heaven’. The third heaven refers to the future dwelling place of God, which will be here on earth with its heaven (the sky/earth’s atmosphere) once it has been renewed and cleansed during the Sixth Age, the Great White Throne Judgement Age. Paul was undoubtedly given a vision of the Eternal Kingdom of the New Heaven and the New Earth where Father God, with Jesus Christ, will dwell with all men and all angels, and He shall be all in all (1Corinthians 15:28). Paul’s vision of the New Heaven and the New Earth was so absolutely wonderful and so incredibly beautiful that he describes it as a Paradise. However, Paul was not permitted to give any details of the words he heard or the things he saw in his vision, because it is not yet God’s time to reveal these things to the world.

The Eternal Kingdom of God of the New Heaven and the New Earth will be the glorious Eternal Sabbath Rest from all sin, and all ungodliness and all unrighteousness for all of God’s creation. Everything in the universe will be reconciled and at peace with Father God because of the finished work of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ on the cross.

It is indeed the destiny of each and every human being and each and every angel, without a single exception, to enter the Eternal Kingdom of God of the New Heaven and the New Earth as sons of God, and be part of the one huge Elohim Family of God; the Family of the one true Father God, Yahweh Elohim, and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, Yeshua Elohim.

Father God (Yahweh Elohim) is love and He loves the whole world and this is why He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ (Yeshua Elohim) into the world to die on the cross for the sins of the whole world, and to save the whole world. Ultimately, this whole world of sinful fallen men and sinful fallen angels, without a single exception, will be impacted by the love of God, and all will come to love and worship God.

Truly: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9).

The New Earth with its New Heaven will be ‘the headquarters‘ of the whole universe, as God the Father Himself and His Son Jesus Christ will have their home there, and they will live with men and angels forever. The New Earth with its Heaven (the sky/earth’s atmosphere) will be the home-base for all of God’s Family. Undoubtedly, God has a purpose in creating the vast and awesome universe. We believe that ultimately, the whole universe will become populated by the Family of God, both groups of all men and all angels as the ‘sons of God’.

Let us be glad and rejoice forever that Father God will create the Eternal Kingdom of God of the New Heaven and the New Earth.

 Isaiah 65:17-18
17 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. 18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create.”
